Vocational Solutions is a subsiderary of Dockhound Enterprises, LLC., a company focused in both business-to-business and business-to-consumer services.
Kay Miller, MA, President of Vocational Solutions, has been providing career and placement counseling to a variety of clients for over 20 years. She obtained her Bachelors in Mathematics from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and her Masters in Educational Psychology, Counseling and Guidance from California State University, Northridge.
She developed a unique career development program specifically for High School students and young adults. Her philosophy is unlike most career counselors who try to identify the “perfect” career. Instead, she focuses on helping the student understand how their unique combination of interests, skills and personality can apply to a variety of careers, and how to discover their best fit through continued education, entry-level jobs and internships.
Ms. Miller has presented career counseling workshops to home school organizations, Big Brothers, and local High Schools.
